Don’t Put Me in a Nursing Home

Don’t put me in a nursing home-
A home that chills me to the bone.
For the people there…are just buying time
Until they’ll all die.

I don’t want to be in a nursing home-
A dreadful place to call home
No one has the time
To visit me time after time.

Don’t take me out of my home
Promise me, never in a nursing home
For no one comes out alive
‘Cause I want to die… in a home that I buy.
